La Casa De Cristo Lutheran Church
Brian Cassidy, AIA, NCARB
CCBG designed the fourth phase of this Church, a New Sanctuary seating 1,400 people, to provide a scared worship environment while showcasing the Church’s multiple Voice Choir, Instrumental and Bell Choir teams. The shape of the Church is designed to amplify natural acoustics for music, with a beautiful organ singing down the central axis of the space. Located in north Phoenix, this Church was dedicated on Palm Sunday 2003. Stained concrete floors help accentuate the acoustical properties of the room, while providing an affordable and durable flooring surface. The music program has a spacious new rehearsal facility in this building that mirrors the shape of the choir space. The Church chose a theme of the “Modern Mission”, which is reinforced through the liturgical art and furnishings.
